Mrs Simoneau has joined the NeoCardioLab in July 2019. She is a trained imaging technologist and has an expertise in medical ultrasound and echocardiography. She has practiced in the clinical context at Hôpital de Sorel, CHU Sainte-Justine and the Montreal Children's Hospital. She was research coordinator and imaging technologist at NeoCardioLab until 2022. She is now a teacher in medical imaging at the College Ahuntsic.
Mme Simoneau s'est jointe au NeoCardioLab en juillet 2019. Elle est technologue en imagerie et possède une expertise en échographie médicale et en échocardiographie. Elle a pratiqué en contexte clinique à l'hôpital de Montréal pour enfants, l'Hôpital de Sorel et au CHU Sainte-Justine. Elle fut coordonnatrice de la recherche et de technologue en imagerie au NeoCardioLab jusqu'en 2022. Elle est maintenant enseignante en imagerie médicale au Collège Ahuntsic.
Professeur adjoint de clinique au Département de médecine de l’Université de Montréal et cardiologue à l’Institut de cardiologie de Montréal (ICM), Dr Nicolas Thibodeau-Jarry a conçu et implanté le tout premier programme d’enseignement par simulation cardiovasculaire au Canada. Il a fait des études de deuxième cycle en pédagogie médicale à la Harvard Medical School de Boston selon le concept d’apprentissage par la maîtrise. De retour à Montréal, il a conçu un programme de simulation cardiovasculaire à l’ICM pour les résidences en cardiologie. Dr Thibodeau-Jarry partage son expertise pour offrir sur ce portail des outils d'apprentissages en échocardiographie adulte.
Assistant professor (Clinical) in the Department of Medicine at the Université de Montréal and cardiologist at the Montreal Heart Institute (MHI), Dr. Nicolas Thibodeau-Jarry designed and implemented the very first cardiovascular simulation teaching program in Canada. He completed graduate studies in medical education at Harvard Medical School in Boston under the mastery learning concept. Back in Montreal, he designed a cardiovascular simulation program at the MHI for cardiology residencies. Dr. Thibodeau-Jarry shares his expertise to offer learning tools in adult echocardiography on this portal.
